my hair is literally beautiful. it was a easy scheduling process. Once i entered the shop it was very beautiful and peaceful with calming music playing the background. the young lady was very gentle with her hands i didn’t even feel her braiding. i will be a regular costumer and recommend everyone i know to come here.

I had a great experience at Nonye African Hair Braiding in Merrillville, Indiana. I was able to get a same-day appointment, and when I arrived, I got straight into the chair with no wait. One of Ms. Nonye’s braiders started right away and did a great job. I just got straight-back braids so I could wear my wigs and head wraps, and she was fast—done in just a little over 90 minutes! The braids were neat and well done, and the pricing was very reasonable. The only thing I’d suggest for next time is being a little gentler on the edges—they felt tighter than I realized a few hours later. I used some braid spray and oil to protect them. But overall, I’m really happy with the results and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

It was last minute they were all booked I called told them what I needed done and they hooked me up. It's better to call ahead and book they can be very busy. This is my third time in their shop very satisfied
